The Vocational High School of Transport and Energy “Henry Ford”
Organizes a sealed-bid auction for the lease of part of a property – public state property, representing the unit “Preparation area of the school canteen” – unequipped, with a usable area of 175.41 sq. m.,
with a starting monthly rental price of 745.00 BGN (excl. VAT) or 894.00 BGN (incl. VAT).
Lease term – 10 (ten) years.

To participate in the auction, a deposit is required in the amount of one monthly rent (excl. VAT), i.e., 745.00 BGN, to be transferred to the following bank account of PHTE “Henry Ford”:

The deposit of the winning bidder will be retained by the school as a guarantee until the end of the lease agreement, in case of failure to meet rent or utility obligations.

Utilities and Fees (at tenant’s expense):

• Cold water – 2% of PHTE’s invoice (for domestic use)

• Heating – 0.3% of PHTE’s invoice

• Waste and property tax – 2.00 BGN per sq. m. annually

• Security – 15% of the national minimum wage

The unit has its own electricity meter. The tenant must re-register the meter within 30 days of signing the lease.

 Payment Terms:

• Rent must be paid in advance by the 10th day of the current month via bank transfer to PHTE “Henry Ford” – Sofia.

• Utility charges are to be paid in cash at the school office by the end of the month following the billing month.

 Repairs:

All major and ongoing repairs of the unit are the tenant’s responsibility.

 Eligibility:

Any natural or legal person, registered under the Commercial Law, whose activity aligns with the intended use of the unit, and who:

• Has no criminal convictions for general offenses;

• Has no outstanding financial obligations to the state or municipalities.

Regulatory Compliance:

The winning bidder must comply with:

• Ordinance No. 37/21.07.2009 of the Minister of Health on healthy nutrition for students;

• Ordinance No. 2/20.01.2021 of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry on food safety and quality in schools and kindergartens.
